Happy New Year to all. Hopefully 2007 will bring us all good health, good fortune and good luck. May all our dreams of wonderful things and wishes come true.
A holiday finally.
Finally after abt 6 weeks into the Nov/Dec break, I went for a short trip to KL with the family. My mum tagged along after Khairi managed to persuade her and landed himself with a $50 bonus money for being successful in the pursuit. The trip was a blast. It may be a close and common location but the company made the trip so memorable. We went up to Genting. It was so foggy and also it was wet. So we didn't managed to take the rides in the outdoor theme park. Only managed to take some of the rides at the indoor park. It was not much. It was also very crowded there. Most of the vehicles that we saw up there were also Sin. cars. We finally got an apartment at Sucasa after much searching around KL town and Bandar Sunway. The search was really an eye opener withs loads of heartache and laughter. Surprisingly I met Mag and her family at the same place.
I really wanted to catch this movie cos I read in the papers that the rating soared to 5 million on its opening.Cicak Man. If you have not seen it,don't bother. It was such a waste of time and money. Its such a lame imitation of Spiderman. Not criticising, but how do we expect the Malay movie industry to do well when they cannot come up their their own creative ideas. Malay movies are of course doing well in most soapy shows but definitely creativity is not seen in the Cicakman. The first half of the show was so slow that I saw my husband sleeping during the show. I thought that the rating was high was a reliable indication of how good the show is. Actually I regretted cos it was my idea to watch the show.
A MUST SEE movie would be A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM. Original and full if creativity. Loads of laughter abt a night guard ( BEN STILLER) and his experience at the museum. Worth your money and go with people who can really laugh out loud. The way they make the animals and creatures move is really commendable. My husband and children loved it so much that they recommended it to almost everybody and to let them tag along.
Aniways my holidays are over. Been back to work already for the sec 1 registration. Was back on Thursday but we were kinda forced to leave cos there was a major blackout in some parts of Bukit Panjang and CCK. The sec 1 registration was pretty OK. I thought that P was quite pleased with most of the things. After the Christmas holidays it will be work full swing all the way till the next weekend of long holiday again.YEAR END AND HARI RAYA HAJI. I realised that I still hv loads of deadlines for next week. 2006 is coming to an end.
ITS A DOG'S LIFE.

ITS A DOG'S LIFE.
Life is like a rollercoaster
My life has never always been up. I've had my downs too. It is when you are down you know who are there to give you that little push. I really believe in this saying that God will not test us beyond what we are capable of. I have been tested and I can safely say that I come out a stronger woman. But I also learn that what ever happen to us has already been written by GOD even before we were in our mother's womb. We may pray to HIM but if so as HE has written that such should happen at such a time, it will happen. If HE should decide to grant our prayers, so it has also been written such that HE decide that HE will change our destiny.
But there are those who were once up there, who really spit on people like me, making us feel so low. Do we deserve all these? Now, you are going through what I went through in my early years of building up my family. I tried not to say it. But it just had to come out. "Hidup jgn suke buat jahat dgn orang" Now that its out.. more revelations came out. I have been keeping a lot of what I went through, what my husband and I went through to ourselves. I regret having to mention all these unnecessary thing that had long past. I should have just listened and kept quiet. No point to mentioned it. But sometimes its just so hard cos ple don't know what you went through.
Are all these meant to happen as written by GOD?
On a brighter note... my house has been busy and noisy. That's because I have 5 big children under 1 roof. 3 of mine plus Amir and Ayang. Today, I brought them to VIVO for lunch at the Chicken rice shop and later went swimming at JE Swimming pool. Bought KFC with whatever money that I have left on me plus $3.80 of coins. Really pai seh. A bit troublesome at VIVO cos Khairi was in a wheelchair which we got from the info. counter. They were pushing him at random speed, they were also sitting on him. Then I see a lot others in wheelchair but all old ple, the apeks and nyonyas. So kinda wierd seeing Khairi amongst this category of people.
I hope that Amir and Ayang who both live in Tampines will bring this alliance beyond JE. Hafiza's birthday was last Sunday. Have yet to get her a gift. Soon Fiza. Soon.
A lesson learnt.
Today I learnt something new.
There has recently been someone who just choose to tag my blog with vulgarities. These kind of things really makes me upset. I thought that having a blog is as simply as penning down your inner thoughts. Little would I expect that there wld be ple who simply have nothing good to say but just simply choose to write rubbish and leave rubbish in your tagboard. I think that when you have to resort to using such low languages, it reflects on the kind of person you are. It shows so much of how you are in control of things that you have to resort to using or for some showing these kind of languages. Yes I know that we are so exposed to these kind of languages daily cos we watch movies, TV progammes and sadly sometimes the company of frens, if that is what you call them, uses these kind of language. But so what if we hear them. Must we also use them? Why must people always end the sentence with a vulgarity? My children are also exposed to such. Its just so difficult to control wt they watch, what they hear and who their frens are. Its just that sometimes the only thing that a parent can do is pray that our children are able to make a wise choice in the kind of language that they use. The kind of behaviour that they portray especially in public.
So today I learnt that you can actually banned a person from your tag board. Yeah! Anyway why so angry with me? When did I offend you that you hv to write all the nasty things.
On another note, I had an enjoyable day today.
I met up with frens from the east. 8 of us all. There was Mag, who just came back from Melbourne. 3 years there. Then Wardah and Fiza who are now on Flexi Adjunct. Resign and came back to teaching. Kak Sharifah retired and also came back teaching. Hamsiah whom I met at EVPS and thought that I was a parent of her student. Badariah HE teacher converted to ML teacher.Last but not least Zaidah the sikit atas one who is going for a holiday in Spain. (Yes I'm so jealous) It was so shiok. Just to catch up on lost times and update each other on many things like our holiday plans, our kids.. share experiences. From the eating place at East Pt Mall to Kak Sharifah's house at Carisa Park to Zaidah's house at Azalea. Like belated jalan Hari Raya . I decide not to drive today. So I took the train all the way to the east and back to the west. It was a good break.
This kind of outing makes you feel in touch with the outside world. There is life out there. Its not always school and work. Since I'm the one who move out of the east to the west, I meet less of these people as they say that they bump into each other at times at the market etc. So they counted that I've not met them at least 6 years. That long.
Thank you guys for meeting up. The first of many more to come.
