A Little Village called Pelegong

I have bn fortunate to be part of the team of teachers and students to experience the kampong life of Pelegong, a little village in Negri Sembilan one of the states in M'sia. There are no words to describe the humbleness of the villagers and to be showered with their hospitality. Just 3 days and 2 nites but so much lesson learnt in just 2 days. What they hv in wealth is not displayed as normally seen in the rich and famous but shadowed by their humble attitude. What they display was the wealth of warmth and sincerity to accept us as part of them. And the wonderful team that I was with plus an enriching experience.

This is one of the villagers who created an impression on me when we went house visiting. He had travelled far and wide Germany, London you name it. He speaks 'great' English.

They are so cute. Handsome and sweet. The little girl is Nabilah. So pretty that one of our boys was only willing to be a groom if she is the bride to a 'fake' wedding. Since she is too young, had to make do with these 'fake' couple.

Remember the the show the 'Wedding Singer'. These are our version of wedding performers.

The supposedly '1 km' walk which is more like 10 km with the uphill and downhill to go to the 'jeram' which is a little ..very little waterfall.
