Travel time

This week is the Natas Fair. This means that it is the best time to scout for your holiday destination and getting it at a good deal. Just last week hubby was asking me abt holiday plans for June. I think after the big-time holiday last year, we tend to think far and wide. But I really doubt that I will get to go anywhere this year. My work plan projection for the holidays are basically extra class, remedials and coursework. Already my March hols include plans to get my graduating classes back. Minimum 3 days. But then I learnt that some of them have already bn booked by other subject teachers. Its not that I want to do this, its just that I have to do this. Then today some students tell me the amount they have to pay for the O levels specifically quoting the amount that they to pay for my subject. Their comments...FN so expensive you know cher.. Duh! So work hard lah. Make it worth your money. Already I see some of the big impact of the motivation talk is dwindling.
BIG IMPACT..thats what they have on me. when they don't finish the work on time..when they dont study for their test tho its the second time on a same topic..and they spent their time doing other things even tho their work is not complete..not even there.
So holidays? I was thinking of keeping it to end of the year.
For now maybe JB..but then the recent jammed really such a put off. My frequent trip juz to top-up petrol, for the food and the look-see-look-see all on hold. At least until things clear off a bit with the intensive checks.

On the home side..of late evry time I called my mum to chat, the background is sooo loud I find it getting unbearable. The 3 kids have bn busy putting their fine fingers on the new toy at home. The piano. Sometimes it a mixture of piano and screaming cos the fight comes along when you dont get to put your fingers on it. I have yet to see the big new thing but I oredi cant take the jamming.
I also recently found out that my niece had completed her degree prog for Biz Mgt. So proud of her and she took her exams when she was late in her pregnancy. Her daughter who is now 4 mths has a crying habit. Yah babies cry. But she wails.. So everybody agreed that she's just like the mum cos my niece wails too. So I told her that when she wails, her father seek an old wise man and soon enough her name was changed. We call her by a 'nick' name. So I told her to follow the footstep of her father. Get her baby's naem changed. Then the wailing will stop. Logic? Not sure if it is.
